After Care

BOBCATS' DEN AFTER CARE PROGRAM

At Lake Murray Outdoor Academy, we know families need flexible, reliable options for student care beyond the regular school day. That’s why we’re proud to offer an After Care program designed to provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for our students. 

ELIGIBILITY

After Care (childcare after school) is available for Lake Murray Outdoor Academy students in all grades. Children must be enrolled at LMOA in order to be eligible to attend After Care. We offer fun activities, games, outdoor play, and homework help.
*Please note, homework help is not a tutoring service. Our staff will help monitor students doing their homework, limit their distractions, and answer questions to the best of their knowledge. 

After Care is open Monday through Thursday, 3 - 6 p.m., and Friday, 12:30 - 4 p.m.

FEES

$75 per child for 5 days

$65 per child for 4 days

$55 per child for 3 days

$40 per child for 2 days

$20 per child for 1 day

PAYMENTS

Payments are due each Monday for the week your student will attend.

Families may choose weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly invoicing. Invoices are provided, and payments may be made online or by cash or check (payable to Lake Murray Outdoor Academy).

Returned payments: $30 fee per returned payment. After the second occurrence, only cash or money orders will be accepted.

Late payments: $20 fee if past due. If payment is not received by Wednesday, your student will be suspended from After Care until the balance is paid. Unpaid balances by the end of the week will result in discontinued enrollment.

Students with outstanding balances from previous school years cannot attend until all fees are paid in full.

LATE PICKUPS

Pick-up after 6:00 p.m. (Mon–Thurs) or 4:00 p.m. (Fri) results in:

$10 fee for the first 15 minutes

$1 per minute after that

If a student is not picked up by 6:30 p.m. (Mon–Thurs) or 4:30 p.m. (Fri) and contacts cannot be reached, law enforcement may be notified.

Repeated late pick-ups may result in suspension or removal from the program.

If a parent is called to pick up a student for any reason, late fees begin one hour after notification.

POLICIES

Registration is a flat weekly rate, regardless of school days or attendance.

Holidays and scheduled school closures are not included in registration calculations.

No credits or refunds will be issued for closures due to weather or other uncontrollable events.

The first payment is due upon acceptance. All other payments are due each Monday, August through May.

Non-refundable: All tuition is non-refundable, except the first payment, which may be refunded if written withdrawal is submitted by August 30.

Families withdrawing must provide written notice by the 15th of the month for withdrawal the following month. Failure to do so may affect future re-enrollment.

AFTER CARE CODE OF CONDUCT

Students in After Care must follow the same school Code of Conduct: treating others and staff with kindness and respect.

Persistent misbehavior or defiance may result in suspension or removal from the program for the remainder of the school year.
